Spirals - 1950s Vintage Barkcloth Makeup Bag

A nice size zippered bag to keep your make-up, travel necessities, or other things organized. This bag measures 10” long x 5” high x 3” deep and the outside fabric is reinforced with heavy interfacing. The outer fabric is made from vintage *barkcloth fabric, the inner fabric is from newer cotton canvas, both fabrics are 100% cotton. The zipper pull is accented with Czech glass beads.

To care for your purse, I suggest using Scotchgard and hand washing with a mild detergent and hanging it to dry.

What is barkcloth?
Barkcloth is an upholstery weight cotton fabric, generally made into curtains, that had it's heyday from the 1930s through the 1960s.
